On Christmas, a large cube-shaped vessel detaches from a mother ship and crashes into a park after the Japanese Military fails to destroy it. While the incident causes significant destruction, Kadode discovers through the news that Kiho died in the crash. Despite this tragic loss, the remaining girls attempt to maintain their friendship and spend time together, continuing their bond even in the absence of Kiho.
