Ep. 8: School year ends as Kadode moves out and Futaba arrives in Tokyo

As the academic year concludes, the group discusses their future university plans while Kadode relocates to a new apartment. Futaba is introduced as she attempts to attend university in Tokyo. Makoto encounters her during their flight and discloses his preference for feminine clothing. Shortly after these personal developments, small saucers begin appearing at a rapid pace. In response to this sudden escalation, the government initiates preparations to launch a final strike against the threat.
