Kou Mukami visits Yui Komori in her room and presents her with roses as a gift. Yui expresses her appreciation for the beautiful flowers but becomes confused when Kou demands something in return and suddenly alters his behavior. He feeds on her blood, causing Yui to black out. Upon regaining consciousness, she finds that Kou has disappeared. Later that same night, Kou returns from work and asks Yui to assist him in getting changed. Yui goes to his room and discovers multiple scars on Kou's back.
