Seido defeats Puplic Murata East with a 10-0 score after five innings. The team observes Akikawa Academy pitcher Shunshin Yeung, whose precise clockwork control makes his pitches difficult to predict. Seido players immediately begin strategizing to counter this unique style. Meanwhile, scouts and writers visit Seido to watch Furuya, but Miyuki limits him to ten pitches due to heat exhaustion from traveling from Hokkaido.
