Ep. 2: Agumon Evolves into Greymon to Save Tai from Shellmon Attack

Kuwagamon triggers a cliff collapse, sending the children and their Digimon toward a river. Joe’s partner summons fish to catch them, saving the group as Kuwagamon crashes into the water. After reaching shore, the partners reintroduce their new rookie forms while the group tries to figure out their location and how to return home. Agumon reveals they are the first humans in the Digital World. Tai leads them to the ocean, where they find broken telephone booths. While resting, Shellmon attacks. Only Agumon is strong enough to fight because the others have not eaten. Tai is captured, prompting Agumon to evolve into Greymon and defeat the enemy by throwing Shellmon into the sea.
