In the science lab, Rikka doubts her potential as a PreCure despite Raquel’s encouragement. After receiving souvenirs from her father, she meets the shopkeeper who gives her a Lovead, though she remains suspicious. Meanwhile, Ira creates a goat-like Letterbox Jikochu from a citizen’s frustration over missing mail, causing the creature to destroy letters. When the Jikochu attacks, Mana protects Rikka’s letter to her father and suffers injuries. Inspired by her friendship with Mana, Rikka concentrates on her feelings and transforms into Cure Diamond alongside Raquel. She defeats the Jikochu using her Twinkle Diamond attack. Afterward, the girls realize they have lost Lance and are approached by their elementary school friend, Alice Yotsuba.
