Alice leverages her connections to bring Mana and Rikka to a television studio where Makoto is rehearsing. Mana attempts to recruit Makoto as an ally, but Makoto rejects her, prioritizing her performance. Makoto's manager, Davie, intervenes to explain her dedication to spreading joy through music. Suddenly, Marmo targets a jealous rival idol, creating a Star Jikochu that attacks Makoto. Mana and her friends risk themselves to protect the idol during the concert. Cure Sword emerges to defeat the monster and vanishes mysteriously. Unable to speak with Makoto directly after the incident, Mana receives an invitation from Davie to a handshake event, offering an opportunity to share her feelings about Makoto's music.
