Alien parasites known as Kiseichuu threaten humanity by draining H-energy, which undermines reproduction and vitality. Amidst this societal crisis, Retto Enjo worries about his childhood friend Kirara Hoshino, who has isolated herself following a traumatic event. He attempts to speak with her after many years, but their relationship remains strained and rocky. Discouraged by this interaction, Retto encounters a Kiseichuu on his way home from school. Witnessing people being drained of their H-energy and losing their vitality triggers an explosion of rage within him, causing him to react violently to the threat. This incident marks a pivotal moment as he faces the invaders directly while grappling with his unresolved feelings toward Kirara.
