Nobita experiences bad luck, prompting Doraemon to provide a special gun that shoots red bullets for good fortune and black bullets for bad fortune, though the user cannot control which type is fired. Due to his cowardice, Nobita has three other people test the weapon first, and they all receive good luck. Subsequently, a young boy takes the gun and shoots Nobita with a black bullet, causing him to suffer from continuous bad luck.
