Nobita attempts to visit Shizuka but Doraemon stops him, citing a book prediction that he will be hospitalized after being hit by a truck. Shizuka persuades Doraemon to accompany Nobita, and they use a future mirror to view events ten seconds ahead. Despite navigating several near-accidents, they arrive at Shizuka's house. Upon opening the door, Nobita is struck on the head by a toy truck, fulfilling the prediction in an unexpected manner. The episode concludes with Nobita and Doraemon laughing together. This installment marks the first appearance of flying hats in the series.
