After being scolded by his parents for arriving home late, Nobita flees using Doraemon's gadgets to live on an uninhabited island. He struggles with survival but cannot return until Doraemon locates him. Upon arrival, Doraemon discovers that ten years have passed, causing Nobita to age significantly. Fearing his parents will not recognize him, the pair travels ten years into the past. They utilize a time cloth to reverse Nobita's aging, restoring him to his original youthful appearance before returning home.
