Doraemon cautions Nobita that Gian will likely discover a Tsuchinoko and achieve fame. To prevent this, they travel to the future to retrieve a specimen and present it to their friends. However, the creature escapes and finds its way to Gian. Consequently, Gian becomes well-known for the discovery, achieving the very fame Doraemon sought to avoid. The pair's attempt to secure the spotlight backfires as Gian capitalizes on the situation.
