Following Kawase's suggestion to seek inspiration elsewhere, Subaru considers traveling to find a change of pace. While contemplating his destination, he observes his mother's flower garden in the yard, which she cultivated for him using seeds and seedlings from her past travels. Each plant bears a label indicating its origin, yet the plot designated for Tokushima remains empty. This discovery prompts Subaru to decide that he will travel to Tokushima to fill the void.
