Kibito restores Gohan’s energy, allowing him and Videl to pursue Goku and the Supreme Kai. During the journey, the Supreme Kai explains that the wizard Babidi seeks to revive Majin Buu, who killed four Supreme Kais long ago. Babidi manipulated Spopovich and Yamu to steal Super Saiyan energy for the ritual. Realizing Gohan defeated Cell, Videl returns to the tournament grounds while Gohan and Kibito catch up. The group arrives at a buried spaceship site. They watch Spopovich and Yamu deliver the stolen energy to Babidi and Dabura, the Demon King, to break the seal on Buu.
