Piccolo succumbs to the Black Water Mist and joins Garlic Jr. While the immortal demon watches, Mustard and Salt torment Earth's remaining defenders. Gohan suffers a severe beating from Salt and faces imminent death until Krillin intervenes, taking a fatal blast that critically wounds him. Enraged by this act, Gohan swiftly eliminates both Mustard and Salt using his Masenko technique. However, as the young Saiyan prepares to face Garlic Jr. and the surviving Spice Boys, Piccolo unexpectedly attacks Gohan, turning the tide of the conflict.
