Chihaya and Kagetsuya are stationed in France when Aya and Miyagi arrive for a vacation. Their mission involves locating Sapphire, an exiled angel whose wings turned black due to cancer. Chihaya finds Sapphire and becomes entangled in the former High Angel's troubles, despite Kagetsuya’s concerns about Chihaya’s recurring suffering. The partners attempt to assist Sapphire while concealing their activities from their guests, but Chihaya’s erratic behavior alerts Aya. She begins to deduce the truth, knowing that fallen angels are viewed as a disgrace in Eden. Meanwhile, Chihaya hides a personal secret linked to his disturbing nightmares, fearing that Sapphire’s fate mirrors the abnormal discoloration of his own wings and hair.
