Shiki attacks Jamilov to avenge massacre victims, but the antagonist proves invincible before logging out to meet Drakken. Shiki’s team attempts to persuade Hermit to return to the Edens Zero, yet she refuses due to her hatred of humans. Upon returning to the city, the group encounters a siege of enemy monsters reprogrammed by Jamilov to eliminate surviving NPCs. Shiki saves Hermit from the creatures while his teammates defend the city. Meanwhile, Homura appears to betray the crew by allying with Jamilov to join Drakken’s forces. After openly turning against the team following Shiki’s return with Hermit, a second Homura with a different avatar emerges to save Shiki from the monster army.
