A girl named Ellis is wanted by a secret group known as the "Hunters" after being accused of killing a famous physicist named Heinrich Schneider. In a Mexican town, she is found by the bounty hunter Nadie, who chooses to assist her instead of handing her over. They travel to Ellis' hometown to uncover information about her background. Their journey continues south as they seek the Gemstone of the Inca Rose, a place called Wiñay Marka, and the truth behind Ellis' uncertain future.
