Escha and her companions board a new airship to reach unexplored ruins, where they meet an enigmatic girl named Flameu who drives them away. After returning home, Escha learns from her foster mother, the automaton Clone, the true story behind Flameu's tragic past. Motivated by this revelation, Escha decides to return to the ruins in order to help Flameu.
