Escha harbors a long-standing ambition to explore the uncharted ruins floating above her city. Her spirits rise when her friend Threia initiates a request to find a method for accessing these sites. However, this hope is quickly dashed when the RD division receives orders from superiors to prepare for a different team to undertake the mission instead. Rather than accepting this setback, Escha and her companions refuse to surrender their goal. They resolve to take matters into their own hands by organizing an independent exploration party to pursue the ruins themselves, defying the official assignment.
