Ep. 9: Natsu and companions encounter a village where food and people are transformed by dark magic

Starving Fairy Tail members returning from Clover discover an abandoned village with ready meals. Erza suspects danger and orders her team to forage for mushrooms in the nearby forest. After consuming the fungi, Natsu, Gray, and Happy grow giant mushrooms on their heads. Meanwhile, Erza and Makarov find a magic circle that turns the village into giant monsters. The wizards try to eat these creatures but find them inedible. Cornered by the monsters, Makarov breaks the spell, freeing the villagers trapped inside the transformed bodies.
