Ep. 10: Natsu Challenges Erza to a Fight Before Pursuing an Unauthorized S-Class Job

Upon returning to Magnolia, Natsu engages Erza in a strength test. Their duel is halted when a Magic Council emissary arrests Erza for damages from the Eisenwald incident. To save her, Macao impersonates Natsu, enabling the Dragon Slayer to infiltrate the council headquarters, Era, and free Erza. Natsu learns the arrest was a mock trial to demonstrate authority, forcing both to spend the night in a cell. The following day, Natsu attempts to resume their match but loses instantly to a single punch. Undeterred, he pursues an S-Class job request with Happy without Makarov’s consent. Lucy initially declines to join but changes her mind after discovering the reward includes a Zodiac Gatekey.
