The orbiting Stargazer telescope identifies an alien invasion fleet of hundreds of craft approaching Earth, appearing impossible to destroy. McAllister theorizes that a transmitter within a pyramid is guiding the fleet. To counter this, a Thunderbolt is modified in an Automated Construction Plant for space flight. The transmitter is installed on the Thunderbolt in Egypt. Sam and Wesley then launch into space to transmit a signal that lures the alien fleet toward the sun, leading to their destruction.
