Kazuma Sohma visits Shigure to discuss Kyo, who hopes to return to the dojo. Kazuma prefers Kyo stay with Shigure due to Tohru’s influence and plans to reveal Kyo’s cat form to her, a scheme Kagura overhears. That night, Kazuma removes Kyo’s rosary and exposes him before Tohru, with Kagura and Yuki observing. Terrified of losing Tohru, Kyo flees, but she pursues him. When Kyo violently rejects her, Tohru remains steadfast, clinging to him and promising never to leave. This embrace reminds Kyo of his late mother, causing a brief return to normal before he transforms again. Tohru then carries the cat form back to the house, demonstrating her unwavering acceptance.
