Ep. 39: Neo sacrifices himself to free Nadia, leading to Gargoyle's demise and Jean's revival.

Neo and Nadia wound Nemo, allowing the New Nautilus to breach the throne room. Neo breaks Gargoyle's hold, restores the Blue Waters, and frees Nadia by shattering her crown, sacrificing himself in the process. Gargoyle kills Jean and tortures Electra before the Nautilus attacks him. Nemo provides Nadia with a Blue Water, explaining it can revive Jean through prayer. Encouraged by Grandis and Electra, Nadia merges both Blue Waters to create a light sphere. Ignoring Nemo's warning, Gargoyle touches the sphere and disintegrates into salt, revealing his human nature. Nadia revives Jean. Nemo destroys Red Noah, and the group returns to Earth. Twelve years later in 1902, seventeen-year-old Marie reflects on her friends' lives: Grandis is single, Hanson is wealthy, Electra is a mother, and Jean and Nadia are married. Marie has married Sanson and is expecting her first child.
