Five Clan maidens compete for the Crown Prince's affection when Keigetsu, consumed by envy, resorts to forbidden magic to exchange bodies with Reirin. The switch brings no relief for Keigetsu, as Reirin's weak constitution puts her life at risk. Reirin, now in Keigetsu's body, must face accusations for past transgressions during a perilous trial. As both women navigate their new circumstances, they become more entwined in each other's struggles. A deeper scheme emerges within the palace, and the two must collaborate to survive.
