Ep. 1: Shoutarou investigates a witch suspect in Fuuto while Philip arrives during an attack.

In the windy city of Fuuto, private detective Shoutarou Hidari encounters a mysterious woman who vanishes. At the Narumi Detective Agency, run by chief Akiko Narumi, client Chuuta Tsubosaki seeks help finding a self-proclaimed witch who stole his bag. Suspecting the same woman, Shoutarou tracks her down, only for her to escape into a building belonging to the Tachikawa Group. Police later report that one of Tachikawa's men was allegedly murdered by the suspect, Tokime. The following day, Shoutarou and Chuuta pursue Tokime into a strange alternate version of Fuuto. There, they come under attack by an unseen assailant. It is at this critical moment that Shoutarou's partner, Philip, arrives on the scene to assist with the unfolding danger.
