Two brothers, Ryuuichi and Kotarou Kashima, are left orphaned after their parents die in a plane crash. Ryuuichi, a high school student, and his younger brother Kotarou, a toddler, are taken in by the chairwoman of Morinomiya Academy. The chairwoman also lost her son and daughter-in-law in the same accident. As a condition for allowing the brothers to stay, Ryuuichi is required to work at the academy's daycare center as a babysitter.
