GHOST IN THE SHELL: Koukaku Kidoutai 2.0

In 2029, the internet has erased national boundaries, allowing enhanced humans to inhabit virtual spaces. Law enforcement can transfer into advanced mecha to combat crime. A top agent of this era lacks a physical form and operates across digital networks, performing hacking and control as needed. This version is a reimagined release of the 1995 film, created in 2008 to coincide with The Sky Crawlers. It features fully re-animated visuals using modern 3D-CGI, remastered audio, and re-recorded voice acting. The voice of the Puppet Master was updated from Kayumi Iemasa to Sakakibara Yoshiko, with some dialogue altered. The soundtrack was remixed by Kawai Kenji in 6.1 surround sound, and Randy Thom of Skywalker Sound contributed as sound designer.
