A severe flu outbreak strikes the city during winter, leaving Otae bedridden. Shinpachi enjoys rare alone time caring for his sister until Gintoki and Kagura arrive unexpectedly. Both visitors are also suffering from the illness and demand that Shinpachi look after them. Irritated by their sudden intrusion and selfish requests, Shinpachi finds his patience tested further when additional sick guests show up at his door, complicating his efforts to manage the household crisis.
