Mistaken for a molester, Hasegawa is arrested and confronted by Haga, who claims to be Hatsu's lover. Haga, a skilled prosecutor defending the victim, exploits the situation by offering Hasegawa a path to innocence only if he divorces Hatsu. He threatens to ensure a guilty verdict otherwise. Overwhelmed and crushed by this ultimatum, Hasegawa loses all hope. However, Gintoki intervenes to lift his spirits, inspiring Hasegawa to regain his resolve. Determined to resist the coercion, Hasegawa prepares to fight Haga until the end of the legal battle.
