Ritsuka and his band members prepare for an upcoming live performance. Meanwhile, Haruki and Akihiko go out for drinks, discussing Ritsuka and Mafuyu. Because Akihiko arrived in town on his motorcycle, he requests to stay the night at Haruki's residence. This arrangement prompts Haruki to recall their initial meeting. He remembers that this encounter occurred shortly after his previous band dissolved. At that time, he first met Ritsuka, who had just begun his third year of middle school.
