Ep. 12: Goblin Slayer defeats the Lord with Priestess' help and reveals his face to Cow Girl.

While veteran adventurers defeat hobgoblins, Goblin Slayer fights the Goblin Lord alone and is initially defeated. Just before death, Priestess casts two Protection spells to trap the Lord. He tries to beg for mercy, but the trick fails, allowing Goblin Slayer to kill him. This was his plan to act as bait. After securing the farm, the group returns to the Guild to celebrate. Goblin Slayer tells Cow Girl he is interested in becoming an adventurer. At Priestess' request, he removes his helm as a reward, surprising everyone with his face. In the epilogue, Priestess narrates that the gods view him as a pawn but are intrigued by his refusal to let them control his fate, leaving his destiny unknown. She notes that he continues to fight.
