With her assistance, he defeats the remaining enemies, including a shaman and a hobgoblin. They then encounter goblin infants, which Goblin Slayer kills without mercy to prevent future threats. Despite the traumatic events, the priestess chooses to join Goblin Slayer as his permanent adventuring companion.

He shares his tragic past: goblins destroyed his village, killing his sister and Cow Girl’s parents, which drove him to obsessively train in goblin extermination. Cow Girl’s uncle warns this obsession prevents normalcy, but she remains supportive, seeking to apologize for excluding him before the attack. Later, Goblin Slayer and Priestess raid a goblin fortress, burning it to prevent escape. Meanwhile, a High Elf searches for an adventurer named Orcbolg.

Oct 21, 2018A High Elf Archer, Dwarf Shaman, and Lizard Priest approach the Guild Girl to recruit the adventurer known as Orcbolg and Beardcutter, which translates to Goblin Slayer in their respective languages. While Goblin Slayer negotiates with the trio, the Priestess is protected by the Witch from rookie adventurers who mistakenly believe Goblin Slayer is using her as bait. The High Elf Archer explains that their races have allied with human kingdoms against the Demon Lord's army and wish to hire Goblin Slayer for a related mission. He initially refuses, citing that demons are not his concern, but changes his mind when the others mention goblins occupying ruins in Elven territory, an area the Elves cannot access due to political issues. The Priestess insists on joining after calling out Goblin Slayer for not consulting her. After camping and sharing meals, a drunk High Elf Archer criticizes Goblin Slayer's rudeness. The following day, the High Elf Archer eliminates goblin sentries at the ruins, allowing the group to enter.
EP 4Goblin Slayer's group battles an Ogre general using stealth and a secret water magic scroll.
Oct 28, 2018Goblin Slayer's group enters the ruins where he notices there are no totems, suggesting these goblins are not led by a shaman. After rescuing an elven prisoner tortured by goblins, an angry High Elf Archer vows to avenge her fellow kin. The group finds a hall where the goblins are resting. Using sleeping and silence spells, Goblin Slayer's group kills the sleeping goblins without alerting the others. However, their silence alerts the goblins leader, an Ogre, one of the Demon Lord's generals. The Ogre attacks the group using his strength and fire magic and proves difficult to kill due to his large size and ability to heal quickly. With his allies at their limit, Goblin Slayer uses his trump card, a magic teleportation scroll given to him by Witch, which sends strong jets of water from the bottom of the ocean to seriously damage the Ogre before giving him the killing blow. As Elvish reinforcements arrive to take over the ruins and Goblin Slayer's group heads back to the city, the experience she had with Goblin Slayer and his obsession makes High Elf Archer want to take Goblin Slayer to a proper adventure.
EP 5Goblin Slayer assists Cow Girl, meets new allies, and receives a special request.
Nov 4, 2018After recovering, Goblin Slayer helps Cow Girl transport supplies to town, where he meets High Elf Archer, Dwarf Shaman, and Lizard Priest, expressing interest in exploring ruins. Priestess informs him of her promotion to the next adventurer rank and thanks him for saving her life. He advises two young adventurers who lost a sword in the sewers to use a club as an improvised weapon to retrieve it. Guild Girl asks him to observe a promotion exam, where she punishes a rhea scout for stealing loot from his party; the scout is dissuaded from attacking by Goblin Slayer's presence. Meanwhile, the young adventurers recover the sword using his advice. Finally, Goblin Slayer receives a special goblin slaying request directly from Sword Maiden.
EP 6Goblin Slayer and Party Investigate Sewer Goblins Using Boats in Water Town
Nov 11, 2018A decade ago, Heroes including Sword Maiden defeated the original Demon Lord. Now, a new Hero and her companions have slain the resurrected Demon Lord, though some generals remain at large. Goblin Slayer and his party travel to Water Town, where they encounter the retired Sword Maiden. She reports a series of violent murders and suspects goblins operating in the local sewers. With the army unwilling to intervene and other adventurers unsuccessful, she hires Goblin Slayer. The team enters the sewers and finds goblins using boats, a tactic that puzzles Goblin Slayer given their usual lack of intelligence. After destroying one boat, they lure a giant alligator to eliminate the rest of the goblin fleet. Upon surfacing, Goblin Slayer remains disturbed that the goblins knew how to use boats but were unaware of the alligator, leading him to suspect someone deliberately placed the goblins in the sewers.
EP 7Goblin Slayer and party face goblin champion in sewer tomb after canary warns of poison gas
Nov 18, 2018Following a town rest, Goblin Slayer and his group return to the sewers to find the goblin source, bringing a canary for poison gas detection. They enter a tomb trap where goblins pump gas, but the party seals the vents. A goblin champion then leads a direct assault, critically injuring Goblin Slayer and attacking Priestess while minions overwhelm the others. Hearing Priestess scream, Goblin Slayer wakes and strikes the champion from behind, gouging out his right eye. The goblin champion and his followers retreat, allowing the group to recover. Priestess receives healing for her injuries, but Goblin Slayer falls unconscious due to the severity of his own wounds sustained during the battle.

Nov 25, 2018Goblin Slayer awakens in the Temple of Law after receiving a Resurrection miracle. Sword Maiden reveals she was captured, raped, and tortured by goblins ten years ago, causing her scars and partial blindness, despite having slain the Demon King. High Elf Archer, Dwarf Shaman, and Lizard Priest scout the sewers while Goblin Slayer and Priestess repair gear in town. Witch and Spearman deliver a mysterious package to Goblin Slayer. Cow Girl waits for his return despite warnings from her uncle. The party returns to the sewers the next day and encounters a powerful demon guarding a room. Goblin Slayer spreads fine flour from the package to create a dust explosion, killing the demon. The group then investigates the mysterious mirror the demon was protecting.

Guild Girl explains a new program where retired adventurers mentor rookies to improve survival rates, prompting Cow Girl to question when Goblin Slayer will retire. The next day, he receives a letter from Sword Maiden, who reports her nightmares have ceased. That evening, Cow Girl encourages him to consider his future, worrying about his long-term prospects. The following morning, during his standard farm patrol, Goblin Slayer discovers fresh goblin footprints, signaling a return to danger.
EP 11Goblin Slayer Assembles Adventurers to Defend the Farm from an Impending Goblin Horde
Dec 23, 2018Goblin Slayer predicts a massive goblin attack on the farm and warns Cow Girl, who refuses to flee again. He seeks help in town, but adventurers initially decline due to the lack of a posted quest. To persuade them, he offers all his personal assets, including equipment and knowledge. Spearman, Witch, two rookies he previously aided, and his own party agree to join. Guild Girl then posts a bounty of one gold per goblin, convincing the remaining adventurers to participate. Goblin Slayer informs the group that a highly intelligent Goblin Lord leads the horde. He formulates a strategy to counter the threat, allowing the team to easily defeat the initial waves. The Goblin Lord subsequently deploys hobgoblins and Goblin Champions while attempting to escape, but Goblin Slayer intercepts him.
EP 12Goblin Slayer defeats the Lord with Priestess' help and reveals his face to Cow Girl.
Dec 30, 2018While veteran adventurers defeat hobgoblins, Goblin Slayer fights the Goblin Lord alone and is initially defeated. Just before death, Priestess casts two Protection spells to trap the Lord. He tries to beg for mercy, but the trick fails, allowing Goblin Slayer to kill him. This was his plan to act as bait. After securing the farm, the group returns to the Guild to celebrate. Goblin Slayer tells Cow Girl he is interested in becoming an adventurer. At Priestess' request, he removes his helm as a reward, surprising everyone with his face. In the epilogue, Priestess narrates that the gods view him as a pawn but are intrigued by his refusal to let them control his fate, leaving his destiny unknown. She notes that he continues to fight.
