GODZILLA: Kaijuu Wakusei

A war between massive creatures known as Kaiju and Godzilla, the being that destroys them, has lasted fifty years, resulting in repeated human losses. In 2048, a select group, chosen by an artificial intelligence, left Earth aboard the spaceship *Aratrum* for the distant planet Tau Cetus e. The planet's environment, however, was deemed unsuitable for human life. Haruo, a young man who witnessed his parents killed by Godzilla, spent twenty years determined to return to Earth and defeat it. As conditions on the ship worsen and emigration becomes unlikely, Haruo leads a group called the Earth Returnists in a risky attempt to navigate back. By the time they arrive, 20,000 years have passed, and Earth is now a world dominated by Godzilla's ecosystem.
