Gran and his companions travel to a different island to gather supplies. During this trip, they accept an archaeological excavation assignment from Sierokarte. The group arrives at the entrance of the ruins, but a sequence of incidents forces them to divide into two separate parties. Isolated from one another, each group continues their journey with the intention of reuniting later. Along the way, they encounter treasure hunters named Mary and Karva. The narrative focuses on their divided exploration and the interactions that occur as they attempt to find each other again within the dangerous environment.
