Iori and Kohei lose enthusiasm for the Izu Spring Festival when assigned to staff their club's okonomiyaki stand. During the Women's Beauty Pageant, Chisa performs stiffly, causing her club's efforts to boost her appeal to fail. Iori attempts to lift her dress with super balls but is abandoned by his teammates, prompting Chisa to seek revenge. Meanwhile, a girl named Cakey asks Kohei out, but he declines. Before the Men's Pageant, Chisa forces Iori to drink two liters of shochu. Cakey later cries to Iori and Kohei about being rejected by the tennis team. At the Men's Pageant, Tennis Club Captain Kudo competes against Kohei for Azusa's affection, but Iori exposes Kudo's disguise, revealing his true intentions and causing public embarrassment. Iori and Chisa win their respective contests. At the after-party, Cakey thanks them while they drink from washtubs. The following day, Chisa publicly claims Iori as her boyfriend to deter other men, resulting in the audience shouting for his death.
