Plue steps in to pacify the situation, prompting Haru to search for the Shadow Stone's weakness without success. Eventually, Plue secures Lance's arm with a chain while Musica holds him down. The blacksmith instructs Haru to strike Lance through the body to secure victory, combining their efforts to overcome the opponent's magical advantages.
