Ep. 1: Qiao An Hao and Lu Jin Nian navigate their complex marriage and high school past

The narrative begins with married couple Qiao An Hao and Lu Jin Nian in bed, where tension arises over her actions and his anger regarding a replacement for Xu Jia Mu, who is later revealed to be his brother. The story then flashes back to their high school days, where Qiao An Hao and Lu Jin Nian meet by chance on a rainy day. Although they do not speak, Lu Jin Nian notices his uniform and desires to see him again, but is subsequently hit by a bicycle ridden by Qiao An Xia, Qiao An Hao’s sister, who falls in love with him. Despite Qiao An Hao’s inability to locate Lu Jin Nian at their shared school, the two are eventually introduced when Qiao An Xia’s friend Xu Jia Mu brings his brother into their lives.
