Ep. 13: Phoenix recalls the elementary school incident uniting him, Edgeworth, and Larry through a lost lunch money mystery.

Phoenix remembers the event that first connected him, Edgeworth, and Larry during their elementary school years. The memory begins when Larry accidentally picks up lunch money dropped by Edgeworth. Phoenix is accused of theft, leading to a mock trial where Edgeworth and Larry defend him. Later, the trio helps find an owner for a stray dog Larry found. After the owner rejects the animal, Edgeworth adopts it and bonds with his friends over a shared television show. Following his father's death, Edgeworth is taken in by von Karma, separating him from his new companions. When Edgeworth returns for a discarded key chain, he finds Phoenix and Larry waiting, promising eternal friendship. In the present, Edgeworth departs to an unknown location, leaving a note stating, "Prosecutor Edgeworth chooses death."
