Haseo begins to lose his sanity while searching for information on Tri-Edge, interrogating PKs and killing them if they do not provide the desired answers. Saburo attempts to reveal a factor that Yata and Pi are interested in by fighting, but fails. Meanwhile, Taihaku discusses the Forest of Pain and Haseo with Phyllo. Tohta makes contact with Haseo, an action that earns Haseo's trust.
