Ep. 52: Alphonse and Armstrong fight homunculi while allies arrive to turn the tide.

Alphonse utilizes the philosopher's stone to combat Pride and Kimblee, successfully trapping Pride but facing a surprise attack from Kimblee, who employs his own stone. Concurrently, the Armstrong siblings gain an advantage over Sloth, who then unleashes his true power, revealing himself as the fastest homunculus. Although Alphonse is recaptured by Pride, Heinkel, healed by Marcoh, delivers a fatal blow to Kimblee. Yoki arrives to rescue Alphonse and the group as they head toward Central, while Pride consumes Kimblee. Armstrong temporarily impales Sloth with a spike, but both he and Olivier are subsequently attacked by mannequin soldiers. Meanwhile, May defends against Envy and the mannequin soldiers, and Edward's group, overwhelmed by the enemies, is joined by Mustang and Hawkeye.
