Keishin Ukai agrees to coach Karasuno only until their upcoming practice match concludes. To evaluate the current roster, he organizes an exhibition game against his volleyball association, which consists of Karasuno alumni. Yu and Sugawara Koushi join the alumni team to balance the numbers, as only four current players could attend. Asahi Azumane fills the final spot after Hinata notices him through a window. Asahi must overcome the triple block formed by Kageyama, Ryuunosuke, and Tsukishima to prove he deserves the ace title and restore his self-confidence during this critical evaluation.
