Ohana Matsumae is abruptly informed by her mother that they are fleeing their current situation. Her mother provides her with a note containing the name Kissuiso, an address, and a phone number. Ohana says goodbye to her hometown, her mother, and her classmate Tanemura Koichi before traveling to her grandmother's residence. During the journey, she gazes out the train window at the ocean, reflecting on the new life that awaits her in this unfamiliar place.
