Ep. 4: Genzō adopts a baby griffin while the shop faces financial ruin and debt

Princess Altena is angered by guards mocking her nickname. Shigure worries about expenses for Hanako’s food and Carmilla’s alcohol. A bank representative denies their loan without a down payment, prompting Genzō to demand earnings. He hunts a griffin, knocking out Heat Haze again. Genzō discovers griffin parents abandon weak chicks, so he steals the weakest one. He is knocked out and rescued by Hanako. Carmilla, killed and eaten by an adult griffin, is buried in Genzō’s garden to resurrect. The baby griffin grows rapidly, raising pet costs. Shigure is less worried because she sold Heat Haze’s lost swords for a fortune.
