Ep. 9: Genzō defeats Altena and is mistaken for Hero while MAO seeks him out.
Soldiers locate Genzō, prompting Princess Altena to retrieve him, but he suplexes her, exposing her underwear. Joanna tells MAO about Genzō’s exaggerated feats before he defeats beast bandits. When Genzō refuses to fight the Demon King, Altena orders his execution, yet he defeats the knights and punishes her. Joanna hands her beast man army to MAO. Altena repeatedly tries to convince Genzō to become the hero, receiving punishment each time. At the guild, Heat Haze attempts to join them but is knocked out again. Other hunters assume Genzō intends to kill the Demon King and label him Hero. Hanako worries about conflicts since her family serves the Demon King. Altena informs Genzō that another Demon King has been summoned, but he punishes her regardless. MAO attacks orcs to find Genzō, who then recognizes MAO as the new Demon King from a drawing.
