In the demon realm, a mysterious woman enters the abandoned Devil King's castle and sends the lone remaining plant to Earth. Meanwhile, Maou, Alciel, and Urushihara argue while Emi mocks their poverty during a visit with Suzuna. After Maou works his shift at MgRonald's, Alciel tries to teach Urushihara to clean, but they are attacked by a strange presence. Later, Chiho joins Maou under an umbrella in the rain, and the attacker is revealed to be a cockroach that Suzuna removes. Suddenly, a gate opens above the building, releasing a large apple. Maou and Emi argue, prompting Emi to attack with her Holy Sword, but hands from the apple block the strike. The apple transforms into a young girl named Alas Ramus, who identifies Maou and Emi as her parents, shocking everyone.
