Ep. 5: Maou and Chiho Seek Work at a Chōshi Beach Hut Amidst Supernatural Legends

After losing his MgRonald's job and apartment due to renovations, Maou and Emi visit Chiho to view a tape from landlord Shiba. Shiba offers a beach hut job in Chōshi paying 10,000 yen daily with room and board. Maou accepts, and Chiho’s mother permits her to join under specific conditions. Chiho expresses her desire to grow stronger to support Maou as both a human and the Demon King, aiming for collective happiness. She joins Emi, Suzuna, and Alas Ramus to monitor the boys. At the dilapidated hut, Maou leads renovation efforts. Amane Ohguro shares the Mouren Yassa legend about ghosts sinking ships. A thick fog suddenly envelops the area, forcing everyone indoors while Amane feels uneasy as a large figure emerges from the mist.
