Yui and the other girls travel to the beach for a day out. They encounter members of Udegumi, who appear to be employed there in part-time roles. The peaceful atmosphere is disrupted when Ja●s and the Umibozu emerge from the calm sea. Meanwhile, the Kimengumi members are extremely excited about an upcoming summer fireworks festival. Despite explicit warnings from their teachers to not go overboard, the group pays no attention to these instructions. In a separate situation, Gou is required to assist with household chores on that specific day, preventing her from joining the festivities. The narrative contrasts the chaotic supernatural encounter at the shore with the students' disregard for safety rules regarding the festival.
