Yamainu members surrender, yet Takano refuses to yield after discovering Nomura's betrayal in Tokyo. She escapes to the mountains, where she confronts Rika's group before being arrested by Banken. Tomitake, moved by pity and her Hinamizawa Syndrome infection, transfers her to the Irie Clinic for care. Later, Rika, Hanyū, Keiichi, Rena, Satoko, Mion, and Shion celebrate the festival. Post-credits, Frederica Bernkastel alters Takano's fate by saving her parents, granting her a happy ending. Mion likens this conclusion to completing the Old Maid card game, ensuring no participants remain as losers in this final chapter.
